and practice their spanish. Iberoamericana Spanish school offers you 2 lodging options:
- Family Homestay with 2 meals, single or double rooms.

The home stay option promises to offer much affection and care to the students,
as if they were proper sons or daughters of the family, the houses have a comfortable
and hospital atmosphere, our host families are specially selected and they are well
prepared to receive you from the moment you arrive in Quito until the moment you
return home. |

You will have your own bedroom, and in many of the cases with a private bathroom,
hot water, and moreover, laundry once per week, breakfasts and dinners each day
are included, You will become part of the new family, integrating yourself into
their daily lives, and enriching your knowledge of the culture and local customs.
They houses offer an easy access to the school, if you don't want to use an urban
transportation, approximately you will have to walk of 10 to 20 minutes to Iberoamericana
Spanish School. Our responsibility is to take care for you and assure your safety

The location of the school is very convenient as you have access to a great variety
of services, urban buses cost $0.25, minimum taxi’s rate cost $1 but at night increase
by about $2. Also places to use the Internet are in close proximity to the school
and cost around $1 for each hour of use. |

The climate of Quito and/or Ecuador in general is very comfortable. There are primarily
2 seasons, winter and summer, but throughout the entire year you will find a very
agreeable climate, with a minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius and a maximum
of 24 degrees Celsius. |

The official money of Ecuador is the American Dollar. In local banks, you are able
to use credit cards to withdraw money from ATMs, such as Visa, Maestro, Mastercard,
AmericanExpress and Cirrus. |
|
|
The school is opened Monday through Friday, throughout the entire year, except on
certain days of obligatory rest in Ecuador like: January 1 (the New Year), May 1
(Day of Work), May 24 (Battle of Pichincha), August 10 (Independence Day), November
2 and 3 (Day of the Dead), December 6 (Founding of Quito), December 25 and 31 (Christmas
and the New Year) |
